Overall
Farm Appearance: Clean up & Clean out Everything!
Indoor
Arena:
o Install excellent quality all-weather sand footing DONE!
o Replace overhead lighting as necessary DONE!
o Install gate so indoor arena can be used for supervised
turnout DONE!
Large
Outdoor Arena:
o Recondition all-weather sand footing and add additional
sand if necessary DONE!
o Replace stadium lighting as necessary
o Install gate so outdoor arena can be used for supervised
turnout DONE!
Stalls:
o Re-level and re-mat all stalls DONE!
o Install new corner feed buckets as needed DONE!
o Enlarge 6 small stalls in main barn to become 3 oversized
(double) stalls DONE!
o Repair broken concrete in barn aisle
Pastures:
o Convert part of back pasture into 2 small paddocks to use
as vet paddocks, private turnout, etc.
o Install paddock by house with V-mesh wire lining to be used
jointly for dog corral and extra horse paddock
o Repair fencing/install gate in outdoor sand arena by house
to allow use as all-weather paddock and extra outdoor arena
o Repair pasture fencing as necessary in the “pond”
and “mare” fields
Lounge/Viewing
Area:
o Install washer/dryer laundry facilities DONE!
Jumps:
Build them!
LONG TERM IMPROVEMENT PLANS
Install
fencing around small sand dressage ring to use jointly for
riding and all-weather paddock
Paint outdoor arena perimeter fence DONE!
Install hot water access in 2nd wash stall
Install crushed limestone base at pasture entrances to improve
footing (decrease mud)
Replace perimeter fencing in “pond” and “mare”
fields
Divide huge “pond” and “mare” fields
into 3-4 large pastures
Clean up and clean out Old Barn to use as overflow stabling
for quarantine, shows and/or clinics
Repair fencing around Old Barn for additional pasture space
Update/build out lounge kitchen for full-service use (oven/stove,
refrigerator, bar/wine storage)
Update lounge bathrooms DONE!
Renovate lounge/viewing area
Renovate barn office
Install windows in all stalls in Main Barn
Install large door at end of Indoor Arena
Install automatic gated entry at farm entrance
Open a small-scale Tack Shop onsite
